The return of the short but sharp Bull Hill race, with 1100 feet of climb over 5.5 miles.
An ideal introduction to fell running for the fell curious!
Starting from Boardman's Farm, the route takes in a number of steep but runnable slopes, and passes the ancient Pilgrims' Cross before a fast descent to the finish. Likely to be muddy, and lots of fun!
Suitable for runners aged 16 and older.
The race is run in accordance with the rules of the FRA (category BS) and runners are reminded that they are responsible for their own safety and must be prepared to carry full fell running kit.
Entry on the day only – fee £4.00 — from the Red Lion, Hawkshaw. Bar snacks and beer at a very reasonable price after the run!
