Celebrate Pakistan Day with Reema Khan, Shamil Khan and Waseem Badami this March. These bright stars of Pakistan will be visiting three great venues in three great cities for one great cause – empowering orphans in Pakistan.
The cause – empowering orphans
There are almost 153 million orphans worldwide and 400,000 orphans in Pakistan. Typically made orphans as a result of conflict and natural disasters, these innocent little ones are the most vulnerable members of society.
With few or no loved ones to protect them, they often succumb to child slave labour, begging or criminal activity, knowing nothing of the joys of childhood. They desperately need our support and protection. They need empowerment, so they can work towards a brighter future.
